the mango tree ministry team

In Mango Tree Ministry, God has brought together a team of men who have very diverse backgrounds, religious and cultural understandings. Each coming to the ministry in unique ways, with each having differing gifts and skills to offer in His service. Each one different in personality, and ability.

Just as the original Twelve disciples who were called, different in many ways, so are the team members of Mango Tree Ministry. But in the unity and oneness of God, He uses this team to reach many with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Gomer Williams

Born and raised in Kingsport, Tennessee. In his working career Gomer had the privilege to live and work in many locations throughout the United States. Gomer taught Sunday School and bible Studies to college students and youth in his local church for many years. Called to full time Mission work in 2008, arrived on the field and began Mango Tree Ministry in 2009.

Adu Mohammed

Born and raised in Niger. He was a shepherd of sheep, goats, and cows, for his family as a young man before traveling to Accra Ghana to find work to be able to support his family back in the village in Niger. Called to ministry and is now a full time missionary and leader in Mango Tree Ministry. He is married to Huri, and they have three children, Firdous, Mohammed, and Muktar.

Iddy Moro

Moro was born and raised in a village near the Tamale area of Northern Ghana. Moro married and moved to the Kumasi area to work with a Missionary for many years. He now is associated with Mango Tree Ministry and has been for many years. He is married to Adjira, and they have six wonderful children; Monica, Sammy, Felicia, Emmanuela, and Abigail.

Musa Mustapha

Born in the Northern area of Ghana, Mustapha came to Accra seeking work to support his family. Mustapha has been associated with Mango Tree Ministry since the early years of the ministry. Mustapha is married to Berkisu and they have five children; Ubeida, Moses, Firdous, Alisha, and Jamal.

Sahadu Umar

Sahadu was born and raised in a village in the Dosso region of Niger. He moved to Niamey and worked in a bakery then moved to Accra Ghana, and worked in the timber market in Nima. He has been associated with Mango Tree Ministry for many years. He is married and raising five children.

Mission family and friends

Mango Tree Ministry is thankful and proud to be in this ministry of fulfilling the Great Commission with some amazing and wonderful people. We are truly thankful for each person and how they contribute in whole to this ministry. Mango Tree Ministry is able to fulfill our mission because of the great people God has placed us with in the work of the ministry.

To know our families is to love our families. Each day we feel the love of our brothers and sisters in Christ have for our people and the work we do in the ministry. We truly love each of our friends and family members.

Many people lift our families up in prayer each day, and we are grateful and blessed by that act of love. We are encouraged and strengthened knowing that each day our family in Christ is lifting us up in prayer.

Many people whether as individuals, or as members of their church, help in our financial support, and for that we are extremely grateful and appreciative. Funding is a vital part of being able to do a lot of what we are called to do in helping meet needs and walking with our brothers and sisters in the mission who, from time to time, need help with the burdens that can come financially.

Whether through Godly love, prayer, or giving, we truly appreciate each and every member of our Mango Tree Ministry family. We thank you and praise God for you all.

We are also thankful for all who come visit us and take part in the ministry through short term mission teams. Teams provide a lot of value, insight, training, and encouragement, to our families. Teams can have very beneficial impacts in the life of the ministry. God uses teams to open new avenues of ministry, to add depth of teaching, build relationships, and help fulfill the feeling of belonging in the One true Church.

We truly see the unity and Oneness of God's amazing Church. We pray our commitment to each other is a model of God's unity in the Church that others will see and be encouraged by. Helping new believers who have never experienced the true Church can truly benefit from the experiences they have with other believers.

To each Church family and individual who walks with us in this ministry, through your love, prayers, and supports, May God bless you greatly. We Love you and appreciate your faithfulness to God's call in this Great Commission ministry.
